You and your dad were inseparable and I was so amazed at the relationship you shared with your him, like best friends. I'm sure that up until his passing that closeness remained. I imagine he lived a life filled with good memories, love and many blessings by you.

I still could not believe it that he's gone forever. GOD bless him.

…your parents are physically not here, but their spirit lives within you and your family

It's been said that everything happens for a reason and that God has a plan for us. I believe that one of the reasons God blessed your mom and dad with the gift of great parenting was that He knew that He would be taking your parents back Home so soon and that you and your sister would be okay because you are such capable and loving women who are surrounded by capable, loving and supportive partners, extended family and friends. I can only hope and try to follow your parents example in raising my girls to be capable, pure-hearted people. If I can achieve that then I will have been blessed.

Thank you for putting this website together. It has made me happy to get to know "Vicente" before he was "Uncle Vick".

I love you.

Bernadette

May you take comfort in knowing that now there are (2) angels watching over you. Dont forget that God has a plan for all of us. Keep strong and dont forget that you are in our prayers.

I met your Dad through Vicky. I remember clearly his loving and joyful spirit. I will always remember Mr. Rodriguez helping us chalk at the 1st Annual Fiesta del Sol, in the middle of the night in the barrio. The 2nd year, he literally must have ran to the store dozens of times to get things that we needed for volunteers, performers, etc.

Thank you for sharing his life with us via this blog. Allthough I met him only a few years ago, his amazing spirit of compassion and service definitely left an imprint in my life. May God continue to bless you to beautiful sisters through this difficult time. Que descanse en paz Sr. Vicente Rodriguez y su hermosa esposa Editha.
